The story of SABORES SORPRESA began long before the company was founded.

It began in Barranquilla, within a family where the kitchen was a place of gathering, learning, and love. There, Idalina Marenco grew up learning the culinary arts from the women who shaped her life: her great-grandmothers, her grandmothers, and her mother.

Each of them left behind more than just recipes.

They taught her that behind every dish lies a story, a culture, and a deep respect for those who produce each ingredient.

Those lessons sparked a passion that, over the years, evolved into a dream: to create a company capable of surprising people through food, keeping tradition alive while always looking toward the future.
